We can so easily miss Christ in the Old Testament but He’s everywhere. The entirely of the bible points to Jesus.
Jesus is in the details - and what a delight it is to find Him there.
This week I’ve been rereading the Bible, but not to study — just to delight in God’s presence. And even in the very first seven chapters of Genesis, the Lord has been showing me so much. In this episode, I’m sharing how the Word has been coming alive in a fresh way. My hope is that it stirs your heart to slow down, read with joy, and see Christ woven through every page.
THIS WEEK’S SACRED SOUL NOTE…
Life is transitioning…
new opportunities are floatingnew joys are on the horizon
but all that is taking over is the sensation of being overwhelmed
with decisions
with meetings
with to-dos
everything feels heavy, feels weighty
but I know who to run to.

“FOR FROM HIM AND THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM ARE ALL THINGS. TO HIM BE THE GLORY FOREVER AMEN!”

As you read Genesis, slow down and ask the Lord to show you where Jesus is in the details.
