Happy Tuesday, yall 🙂
Life with Jesus has been so sweet recently. Praying with my husband, praying with sisters in Christ, and everything else in between.
God does not wait for finished spaces to meet us.
This week’s Seek JOY episode is about Jesus meeting us in the in-between. The unfinished spaces. The seasons where life is still moving and we’re learning how to abide instead of strive. We talk about spiritual warfare, rest, honesty in prayer, and trusting God when we don’t need answers, just His presence.
THIS WEEK’S SACRED SOUL NOTE…
grace for the season
How gently He looks at me as I consider Him.
The tender love and care in His eyes for me when I turn my head just to get a glimpse of His majesty; His beauty.
He gives me a sweet glimpse every time.
That is His grace.
And it is sufficient for me.
This week’s scripture:
“Dear friends, don’t be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you, as if something unusual were happening to you. 13 Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed”
JOURNAL PROMPT:
Where am I resisting the in-between instead of abiding in it?
Follow-up Questions:
What pressure am I carrying that God never asked me to hold?
Where do I need presence more than advice right now?
What would it look like to actually rest here?
How can I be praying for you?
