YALL!
We hit 100 episodes.
One. Hundred.
And I’m not even being funny… that is wild to me. Not because of the number. But because of what the number represents. One hundred moments of saying yes!! One hundred times pressing record. One hundred times trusting Jesus with my mouth and my heart and this microphone. PHEWWWW.
And He has been so faithful. Like SO faithful!
Jesus really did this!! WHAAAT!
This week I’m celebrating. Reflecting. Laughing a little. Getting emotional a little. Just sitting in what 100 episodes of daily obedience has taught me.
We talk about what it means to preach the Word for real. To exhort each other. To stay when it would be easier to shrink. To trust God without a five year plan. Because listen… I did not have one. I just had “okay Lord, today.”
And somehow today turned into 100 episodes.
We’re talking about abiding (yes sister sister, again). We’re talking about growth. We’re talking about being different than episode one and actually being excited about that because that means Jesus is doing what Jesus does.
THIS WEEK’S SACRED SOUL NOTE…
i don’t know
I don't know if this is going to make any sense -- but here it goes.
It's like I've been walking this walk with Jesus for a few years now but the fresh revelation I have been having of Him recently is like no other. That if my correction, exhortation, teaching and rebuke is marinated in mere obedience and not love, I'm totally missing the mark. Which logically I have understood; but it's like the Lord has peeled back a layer of my heart. And I don't feel condemned or shame or guilt….
This week’s scripture:
“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”
JOURNAL PROMPT:
Where have you been saying yes to God even if it felt small?
Follow-up Questions:
What has changed in you since you first started obeying Him in that area?
Are you chasing outcomes or are you staying close to Jesus?
What would it look like to celebrate what He’s already done instead of rushing to what’s next?
How can I be praying for you?
GET GODLY MERCH
I’m different than episode one. And I’m grateful for that.
Not because I reinvented myself. But because I stayed with Jesus. And He grows what stays connected to Him. “ABIDE IN ME AND I IN YOU AND YOU WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT” girll this is just proof of that.
If you’ve been listening since day one… thank you. 🥰
If you just got here… welcome. 😁
Either way, we’re here because He’s faithful.
Keep abiding. Keep choosing joy. Keep giving Him your yes. He is building things you cannot even see yet. And that should make you smile a little.
In 100 times of saying joy,
Cheyenne
