And so it beginsโฆ
Hey fam โ While enjoying my coffee, I felt God reminding us: you're safe here to surrender. In the stillness and noise, He's present and speaking. This week, I want to share what He's shown me in those quiet moments, as you might need it too.
We are called to give our fruit back to God, not bear it for others.
In this weekโs podcast, I discussed how the fruit we bear is first an offering to God, not a gift to the world. We cultivate virtues like patience and kindness as a natural result of abiding in Him, and we return them to Him in worship. Any blessings to others are simply the overflow of what we've already surrendered to God.
*Because youโre here in this quiet place with me, you get to watch it before it premieres tomorrow. :)
THIS WEEKโS SACRED SOUL NOTEโฆ
The Whirlwind of Surrender
One minute youโre so sure youโre ready to give it all up for Jesus and the next youโre questioning how youโre going to even make it to the next step.
God is the calm in the storm. The peace above the raging sea. Godโs in control of that whirlwind spinning about you and me. What a gift to be held in His sovereignty. In His rich kindness He loves to let us knowโฆ
This weekโs scripture:
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the body of Christ so that you may belong to another. You belong to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.
JOURNAL PROMPT:
"What fruit is God growing in me right now, and how can I intentionally offer it back to Him instead of seeking approval from others?"
Follow-up Questions:
Where in my life am I most tempted to display my fruit for people rather than offer it to God?
How does my pace of life help or hinder the growth of spiritual fruit in me?
What is one small, practical way I can surrender my fruit to God this week?
Desire prayer this week? (tbh your answer should always be yes hehe)
